Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
Tradorca (“we”, “us”) provides a trading journal and prop-firm tracking service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We try to keep it plain rather than legalistic.
Who we are
Tradorca is a trading journal and analytics tool for futures and prop-firm traders. For any privacy question or request, contact support@tradorca.com.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address and authentication details, so you can sign in and we can secure your account.
Trading data. Trades, executions, account balances, prop-firm challenge details and related records — either entered by you, imported from a CSV, or retrieved from a broker you choose to connect.
Content you create. Journal entries, notes, strategies, tags and any screenshots you upload.
Billing information. Subscriptions are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, identified at checkout. We receive your subscription status — we never see or store your full card details.
Basic technical data. Standard server logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Broker connections
If you connect a broker account (for example via Tradovate), you authorise that broker to share your data with Tradorca. We request read-only access — enough to read your account information, orders, fills and contract details.
We do not request, and cannot use, permission to place, modify or cancel orders. Tradorca never trades on your behalf and never moves money.
Where a broker supports OAuth, we never see or store your broker password — you authenticate on the broker's own site and we receive a limited access token. You can disconnect a broker at any time from Settings → Accounts, and you can also revoke access from within your broker account.
How we use your data
To provide the service: to display your trades, calculate statistics, track prop-firm progress, and store your journal. To operate the business: authentication, billing, support, security, and fixing faults. To communicate with you about the service.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your trading data with advertisers, and we do not use your individual trading data to trade.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run Tradorca: our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase), our payment provider, and any broker you explicitly connect. Each processes data on our behalf or at your direction. The payment provider is identified at checkout, and we will name our current providers on request.
We may also disclose data where legally required, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the service.
Storage, security and location
Data is stored in our database with row-level security, so your records are accessible only to your account. Access is protected by authentication, and broker tokens are held server-side. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
Data may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Your trade history is retained on every plan — we do not delete history when a subscription ends. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and content, except where we must retain records for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the service to function — principally to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
Tradorca is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
Tradorca is a journaling and analytics tool. It is not a broker, is not investment advice, and does not execute trades. See our Terms & Conditions.
